The company revealed MIUI 12.5 Enhanced edition and MIUI for pad at the MI MIX 4 launch event. It brings various improvement to upgrade MIUI 12.5 and MIUI for Pad which itself is a version of MIUI 12. The updated version provides faster and smoother performance as compare to antecedent.

The new MIUI 12.5 Enhanced edition provides a bunch of new upgraded features with enhanced security and better performance experience. It headed the more improvement to CPU and power consumption. The new operating system is better than existing version of MIUI. It also provides the base update for MIUI 13 releases. The new update comes up with the problem fixer of around 160 system header problems and 224 system application problems. It brings maximum optimization for lower framework to higher level of application layer.

MIUI 12.5 Enhanced edition released in many phases in India and available soon in different batches. However, MIUI12.5 Enhanced edition does not introduce any new feature but it brings four new optimizations named as;  

-Liquid storage



-Atomic memory


-Focus calculation



-Intelligent balance



Let’s have a look over all of these;

Liquid storage helps to hold read and write performance for a longer period of time. Meanwhile, atomic memory improves the performance of applications in memory. The focus calculation helps to reduce the power consumption and use of CPU. Intelligent balance maintains the balance between hardware performance and power consumption.

It is revealed that MIUI 12.5 upgrade step by step to 6 to 12 phones in their first batch and will get the update by 27 of August.  Alongside the brand also launched its first ever operating system which is specifically designed for tablets. It comes with full screen experience of applications. Apart this, company is also working for the MI security app for tablets. For that purpose Xioami requested many developers to join the open platform to improve the apps for tablets.
